Next on the agenda-Up-date on the Robert McWilliams Drain #569

Surveyor Ward presented to the Board:

The following information is regarding the Robert McWilliams Drain #569 over by Idaville. We have discussed this with the Schroeders a few times. The last time they were here a representative from Banning Engineering just happened to be here. He sent me some numbers on a project that they had done in Montgomery County. They did about a seventy-five (75) foot of bore.

Actual work by Contractor: $36,000.00 Permit Fees: $4,000.00 Engineering/Surveying/Construction Staking Fees: $10,000.00 CSX Construction Fees: $20,000.00

This is just to give you some idea of the cost of a project. Our bore would probably be longer than their bore due to the fact the County Road is on the south side of the Railroad and the Highway is on the north side.

Board Member Heimlich: Have the Schroeders seen these figures?

Surveyor Ward: No, I will be forwarding this information on to their Attorney, Dan Blaney.

OTHER DISCUSSIONS:

  1. Scheduling the E. M. Ferguson next informational meeting. The Board decided to schedule the

meeting for September 16th, 2013.

With nothing further for the White County Drainage Board Chairman Burton adjourned the meeting.
