BE IT REMEMBERED, that the White County Drainage Board held a regular meeting on Monday, February 3, 2014.  The meeting was held at the White County Building, 2nd floor, Commissioners’ conference room beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Drainage Board members present were:  Vice President John Heimlich and Member David Diener.  Also, present were the White County Attorney George W. Loy, White County Surveyor Bradley E. Ward and the Surveyor’s Secretary Sharon Broussard.  President Steve Burton was absent.

Drainage Board Vice President John Heimlich called the meeting to order.


· Member Diener made a motion to approve the minutes as presented for the regular meeting held on January 21, 2014, seconded by Member Heimlich.  Vote:  Unanimous

James Chilton #511

Surveyor Ward reported White County received a $10,713.45 check from The Nature Conservancy for reimbursement of construction expenses for the James Chilton #511 two-stage ditch project.

Fern A. McKillip #628 – Petition for Maintenance

Petition carried by Jeffery Steinke.  Thirty-five percent (35%) of the watershed signed the petition.   The account balance is $60,573.11.  The annual assessment is $13,751.10.  The four year maximum is $55,004.40 and is not on the 2014 Assessment list.  Permits will have to be issued.

· Member Diener made a motion to accept the Petition for Maintenance, seconded by Member Heimlich.  Vote: Unanimous

There being no further business to come before the board, their meeting was adjourned.
