BE IT REMEMBERED, that the White County Drainage Board held a regular meeting on Monday, August 17, 2015. The meeting was held at the White County Building, 2nd floor, Commissioners’ conference room beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Drainage Board members present were: President Steve Burton, Vice President John Heimlich and Member David Diener. Also, present were the White County Attorney George W. Loy, White County Surveyor Bradley E. Ward and the Surveyor’s Assistant Sharon Broussard.

Others present were:

Mike Kyburz – White County Highway Dept. Supt.

Sharon Watson – White County Soil & Water


President Burton called the meeting to order.




  • Vice President Heimlich made a motion to approve the minutes as presented for the regular meeting held on August 3, 2015; seconded by President Burton.

Vote: Unanimous




Attorney Loy lead the discussion regarding a conference call on August 6, 2015 between Surveyor Ward, Joseph Werner, Burns & McDonnell, Greentown-Reynolds Electric System Improvement Project Representative and himself.

They discussed the format for the “Road-Use Agreement” combined with the bonding requirements, “Consent to Encroach” and the need for an inspector. There will be a minor relocation of the E.H. Johnson #549 tile and inspector at NIPSCO’s cost.

The minimum sag height on wires is 55’ from the ground.


Surveyor Ward and Superintendent Kyburz had additional conversation on drainage projects.

There being no further business to come before the board, their meeting was adjourned.
