MINUTES

  • Vice President Heimlich made a motion to approve the minutes as presented for the regular meeting held on October 5, 2015; seconded by Member Diener.

Vote: Unanimous

DAVID LIVESAY – DRAINAGE WAIVER

David Livesay, landowner, request to subdivide approximately (3) acres of land that is currently in one parcel located at Division Road and 300. A modular (14’x76’) already exist on the parcel and he is building a 1,500 square foot house on the other end of the parcel. Each parcel will be approximately one and one-half (1-1/2) acres. The land is flat.

Surveyor Ward said the drainage ordinance would probably be in effect for the subdivision.

Vice President Heimlich said the water will go on someone else, so why should there be a waiver from the drainage ordinance.

The Drainage Board decided that there is not enough information to grant a drainage waiver at this time.

Surveyor Ward reported that he is meeting with Jeffry W. Healy, P.E., Banning Engineering, today to review Big Monon Creek. The information will be forwarded to the Big Monon Ditch Board.
