BE IT REMEMBERED, that the White County Drainage Board held a regular meeting on Monday, May 16, 2016. The meeting was held at the White County Building, 2nd floor, Commissioners’ conference room beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Drainage Board members present were: President Steve Burton, Vice President John Heimlich and Member David Diener. Also, present were the White County Attorney George W. Loy, White County Surveyor Brad Ward and the Drainage Board Secretary Jennifer Hill.

Others present were:

Mike Kyburz – White County Highway Superintendent J.D. Smith – White County Highway Dept.

Sharon Watson-White County Soil & Water Dept. Brad Gleitz- MKR Farms

William Randy Cole- MKR Farms

Bob Gross (R.W. Gross & Assoc.) - Springer Funeral Home

President Burton called the meeting to order.


· Vice President Heimlich made a motion to approve the minutes as presented for the regular meeting held on May 2, 2016; seconded by Member Diener. Vote: Unanimous (3-Favor 0-Opposed)

Springer Funeral Home Parking Lot Drainage Review

Surveyor Ward presented the information and some aerial pictures to the Drainage Board for their decision. Bob Gross with R.W. Gross & Associates answered questions from the Board.

· Member Diener made a motion to accept the Springer funeral Home Parking Lot Drainage Plan contingent on the City of Monticello Board of Works approval; seconded by Vice President Heimlich.

Vote: Unanimous (3–Favor, 0-Against)

Brad Gleitz and William Randy Cole with MKR Farms brought to the Boards attention east of Idaville, on 50 N south of Willie Motes property there is a landowner that was pumping water from a pond into the county tile causing problems for MKR Farms. After short discussion it was decided that a certified letter be sent to the property owner.

There was also short discussion pertaining to the Renwick/ Amelia Suits ditches and reinforcing the banks along 900 E. More information will be obtained before the next Drainage Board meeting.

There being no further business to come before the board, their meeting was adjourned.
