DRAINAGE REVIEW - David & Sara Davis

Surveyor Ward explained that the Drainage Plan was prepared by Michael Deer and submitted by Mike Veenhuizen with Livestock Engineering Solutions Inc. The plan was reviewed by Todd Frauhiger with AECOM and exceeds the White County Drainage Ordinance, actually reducing runoff by about 75%. Surveyor Ward recommends approval for the plan. Board Member Diener made a motion to approve the Drainage Plan for David & Sara Davis, Co Rd 800 S, Brookston, Indiana; with a second from Vice President Heimlich. Vote: Unanimous (3 – Favor, 0 – Oppose)

MCWILLIAMS UPDATE

At the request of the board Surveyor Ward tried to come up with more numbers on the McWilliams Ditch. He said that to run tile alone would cost in the area of $145-150,000. Surveyor Ward also explained that he didn’t believe that running 15” tile to the railroad would be adequate to handle the water.
