BE IT REMEMBERED, that the White County Drainage Board held a regular meeting on Monday, December 18, 2017. The meeting was held at the White County Building, 2nd floor, Commissioners’ conference room beginning at 10:30 a.m. Drainage Board members present were: President Steve Burton, Vice President John Heimlich and Board Member David Diener. Also, present were the White County Surveyor Bradley E. Ward, Attorney George Loy and Board Secretary Jennifer Hill.

 

President Burton called the meeting to order.

MINUTES

· Board Member Diener made a motion to approve the minutes as presented for the regular meeting held on December 4, 2017, seconded by Vice President Heimlich.

DRAINAGE EXCEPTION – Liberty Arms

Surveyor Ward request that Phil Hunt step to the podium and explain what is being asked for. Phil request that he would like a waiver from the drainage review and fee. There was short discussion and Attorney George Loy made a phone call to the Engineer to ask questions that the Board had. Jeffery Haw will return a phone call to the Surveyor’s Department to answer those questions. It was decided that the Board would wait for a return call from the Engineer and that they would then convene in a Special Meeting of the Drainage Board on December 28, 2017 at 9:00 a.m.

 

OTHER BUSINESS

Jasper County is requesting that we waive our rights to the Niesus, the tile is entirely in Jasper County and is on maintenance. White County has 104 acres that drain into it. This request will be on the January 2, 2017 Drainage Board Meeting agenda.

 

 

There being no further business to come before the board, the meeting was adjourned.
