BE IT REMEMBERED, that the White County Commissioners held a regular meeting on Monday, February 4, 2019, in the White County Building, 2nd -floor Commissioners’ Conference Room, beginning at 8:15 a.m.

Commissioners present were: President John C. Heimlich, Commissioner Steve Burton, and Commissioner David Diener.

Commissioner Heimlich called the meeting to order.

MINUTES

· Commissioner Diener made a motion to approve the minutes from the regular meeting held on January 22, 2019, seconded by Commissioner Heimlich. Vote: Unanimous

PAYROLL

· Commissioner Burton made a motion to approve payroll for January 28, 2019, seconded by Commissioner Diener. Vote: Unanimous

CLAIMS

· Commissioner Diener made a motion to approve and pay the claims as presented, seconded by Commissioner Burton. Vote: Unanimous

HIGHWAY

Highway Superintendent Mike Kyburz said that when the weather warms up, they will start back up on Gordon Road, the roundabout on US Hwy 421 and Gordon Road, Bridge #95 project which is located on 300 E. - South of Monon Road, and Lowes Bridge.

SHERIFF’S DEPT – CUSHING SYSTEMS CONTRACT

White County Sheriff Brooks was present to answer questions in regards to the proposed Public Safety Management System Software and Services Agreement with Cushing Systems, Inc., (CTI).

Attorney Loy said that he needs to review the existing contract to make sure that it can be terminated. Sheriff Brooks will check with the E911 Department to get a copy of the existing contract.

Commissioner Diener suggested that the contract is tabled to the joint meeting with the Council so they can recommend how it can be paid.

Sheriff Brooks said that he was fine with tabling the contract to the next meeting on February 19.

There being no further business to come before the board, their meeting adjourned.
