BE IT REMEMBERED, that the White County Drainage Board held a meeting on Monday, April 15, 2019. The meeting was held at the White County Building, 2nd floor, Commissioners’ conference room beginning at 10:30 a.m. Drainage Board members present were: President Steve Burton, Vice President John Heimlich and Board Member David Diener. Also, present were the White County Surveyor Bradley E. Ward, Attorney George Loy and Board Secretary Jennifer Hill.

President Steve Burton called the meeting to order.

MINUTES

· Vice President Heimlich made a motion to approve the minutes as presented for the meeting held on April 1, 2019, seconded by Board Member Diener.

Vote: Unanimous

Drainage Reviews

J & A Bowman Farms LLC

Surveyor Ward explained this Drainage Review was for J & A Bowman Farms CAFO, Section 5 Township 27 N, Range 4 West. The Drainage Plan was designed by Michael Deer for Livestock Engineering Solutions, INC. Todd Frauhiger with AECOM has reviewed the plan and it meets the White County Drainage Ordinance, he has no concerns with the plan. There was a motion by Vice President Heimlich to accept the Drainage Plan; with a second from Board Member Diener.

VOTE: Unanimous (3 – For 0 – Against).

 

Justin & Jennifer Crichfield

Surveyor Ward explained this Drainage Plan was not on the Agenda, he received the plan on Friday at 4:00 and request if the Board was willing to hear it. Surveyor Ward explained this plan was also designed by Michael Deer for Livestock Engineering Solutions, INC. for the Justin & Jennifer Crichfield CAFO, the location is Section 34 Township 27 N, Range 2 W in Lincoln Township. Todd Frauhiger with AECOM has reviewed the plan and it meets the White County Drainage Ordinance, he has no concerns with the plan. Mr. Crichfield explained that he does have a written permission to cross Milt Cole’s land. He explained may need to also cross the Don Potts land and that he has spoken with Mr. Potts who has given him the okay to do the work. There was a motion by Vice President Heimlich to accept the Drainage Plan contingent on receipt of the Easement; with a second from Board Member Diener.

VOTE: Unanimous (3 – For 0 – Against).

 

There being no other business before the board, the meeting was adjourned.
