The appointing committee of the Twin Lakes Regional Sewer Board held a special meeting on Monday, December 2, 2019. The meeting was held at the White County Building, 2nd -floor, Commissioners’ Conference room beginning at 8:15 a.m.

Members of the appointing committee attending the meeting were: Commissioner John C. Heimlich, Commissioner Steve Burton, Commissioner David Diener, Liberty Township Trustee Joan Alma, Union Township Trustee Leslie Bruder and Monon Township Trustee Jacob Garling.

Commissioner Heimlich called the meeting to order.


· Commissioner Diener made a motion to approve the minutes from the last meeting held on February 7, 2019, seconded by Commissioner Burton. Vote: Unanimous


Commissioner Heimlich said that the vacancy is due to the untimely death of Lynn Wilson. Lynn was in his second term. This appointment is to fill the unexpired term of Lynn Wilson which expires December 31, 2020. County Councilwoman Janet Faker has agreed to fill the vacancy on the TLRSD board.

Board member Don Koleszar’s term expires December 31, 2019. He has agreed to serve another 4 – year term.

Commissioner Heimlich asked if there were any questions about the candidates. No response.

· Monon Township Trustee Jacob Garling made a motion to appoint Janet Faker to the Twin Lakes Regional Sewer Board with a term expiring December 31, 2020, and reappoint Don Koleszar with a term expiring December 31, 2023, seconded by Union Township Trustee Leslie Bruder. Vote: Unanimous

There being no further business to come before the committee, their meeting was adjourned.
